High-profile sailboats of unique design and advanced technology have taken part in iconic regattas in their history. They arise from custom or semi-custom designs designed for yacht racing or cruising: the width of the hulls and the extent of the sails allow spectacular maneuvers in both coastal and offshore trials.

Designed by Studio Vallicelli of renowned architect and industrial designer Andrea Vallicelli, totally constructed of carbon fiber, it was first launched under the name Riviera di Rimini in 1998. From 2002 and until 2009 he sailed under the name Esimit Europa 1 of skipper Igor Simčič winning major regattas.
Since spring 2016 she has carried the name Adriatic Europa: today she sails the seas flying the Slovenian flag thanks to the project initiated by skipper Dušan Puh.

Farr Maxi One Design was designed by the prestigious firm of Bruce Farr. The Maxi Yacht was initially conceived as a Grand Mistral 80 for Pierre Fehlmann with the intention of creating a race around the one-design world. Five yachts were originally built.
In recent years it has been expertly refurbished and made suitable for “fast cruising” but without changing its true racer characteristics.

Designed by the prestigious German Frers Studio in 2000, Anywave is made entirely of carbon fiber. It is equipped with canting keel, two hydrodynamic appendages, dual wheelhouses and modern electronic instrumentation and steering systems. Its hull lines, advanced technological systems and very low displacement make it extremely competitive in both coastal and offshore trials, particularly in IRC or ORC composite racing.

VOR 60

She was launched as the last of the legendary Volvo Ocean Race Generation 60 fleet. Designed in the Farr Yacht Design studio, it is the fastest VOR 60 of its generation. Under the original name “Amer Sports Too “, under the leadership of Lisa McDonald and her women’s crew, she sailed around the world at the 2001/02 Volvo Ocean Race. Subsequently, he mainly participated in regattas in the Mediterranean and Adriatic.
In the fall of 2017, Clean Sport Group carried out a major refitting, making it perform again for competitive activities under the new name “Clean Sport One.”

Reichel/Pugh 90

It is one of the longest-running and most successful large racing boats in international offshore sailing: former Alfa Romeo I, former Rambler 90, former La Bête. She was designed by Reichel/Pugh and built in 2001 in Sydney at McConaghy Boats shipyards for owner Neville Crichton. Still innovative and impressive in performance level due to its technical characteristics. The fixed-keel Maxi Yacht 90, built entirely of carbon, has 27.43 m overall and a 38-m mast.
Launched in 2002, Shockwave won its first major victory back in its debut year by finishing first in the Rolex Sydney-Hobart. Other noteworthy achievements were the victories attained several times at the Mediterranean’s most prestigious regattas such as the Giraglia Rolex Cup, the Fastnet, the Middle Sea Race, and the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. Overall, he boasts a palmarès with more than 80 victories in the world’s most important regattas.

VOR 60
Helmsman to be determined Star Chef ALEXANDER ROSSI
The VOR 60-class Maxi Yacht was launched in 1992 under the name “Brooksfield.” With a predominantly Italian crew led by skipper Guido Maisto, he participated in the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1993-94. In the following years, after a succession of changes of owners and names, she also sailed under the name of Nafta Watch. In 2000, under the direction of Slovenian skipper Dušan Puh, he achieved enviable results in the most important regattas in the Adriatic Sea. For a number of years it was stationary in the Izola Marina (SLO) and has undergone a more thorough refitting in recent years: today it is once again present in North Adriatic regattas.
